what you provide
Details in your enquiry
When you send our enquiry form, we collect only the contact details and message shown on the form.
Name
We ask for your name so we know who we are speaking with.
Email
We ask for your email so we can reply.
Phone
You may provide a phone number, but it is optional.
Message
We collect the message you choose to send.
enquiry context
Information added to the form
The form adds a small amount of context so we can understand the enquiry and where it came from.
Offer or service
We receive the internal slug for the offer or service you clicked.
Page path
We receive the path of the page where you made the enquiry. We never send the query string.
Campaign details
When present, we receive utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, gclid, gbraid, wbraid and msclkid, plus the landing page and referring site. These first-touch details are held in your browser's sessionStorage and disappear when you close the tab.
spam and delivery
What happens when you submit
Your enquiry is checked for spam, delivered to us and recorded in our own customer system.
Akismet spam check
Akismet, run by Automattic, receives your name, email, message, IP address and browser user agent for a spam check. If Akismet says the enquiry is spam, the message is dropped.
Anti-spam signals
We also send a hidden honeypot field and the number of milliseconds between page load and submission. These two signals are discarded after delivery.
Email delivery
The enquiry is emailed to our business and carried by Twilio SendGrid.
Customer record
The enquiry is written into our own self-hosted EspoCRM.
site activity
Analytics, advertising and security
We use a short list of services to measure site use, count enquiries and protect the form.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-D2V5F3GVHH, sets cookies. We do not send your name, email or phone number to it, and we do not put personal data in URLs.
Google Ads
Google Ads, conversion ID AW-18240262631, records a successful enquiry once. A one-time token stops a refresh of the thank-you page from counting it twice.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare sits in front of the site and sees the IP address for every request. It also injects a small performance script when a browser loads a page.
Rate limiting
We use your IP address for the spam check and to limit submissions to five messages in ten minutes. We do not use it for profiling.
keeping and sharing
We keep data only while there is a reason
We keep enquiry and client data while there is a live reason: an open conversation, a quote, a job in progress, or records for an actual client. We delete it when there is no live reason. Google Analytics data expires on Google's schedule. We do not sell, rent or trade your data.
your choices

Block tracking
You can block cookies or use an ad blocker. The site and the enquiry form will still work.

You can raise a privacy complaint with us. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
