A mockup is a fact.
Every web quote you have been sent looks the same: a page of inclusions, a number at the bottom, and no way to tell what you are actually getting until the money is spent. We got tired of that argument, so we removed it. We build the homepage first and let you look at it. You can see the layout, the wording, the colours and how it behaves on your phone, before a single dollar changes hands. It takes us a few hours and it saves both of us a fortnight of emails.
You see your own business, not a template
The mockup uses your trade, your services and your suburb, not "Lorem ipsum" over a stock photo of a handshake. That is the whole point: you are judging your website, not a generic sample of our work.
No card, no deposit, no obligation
We do not take payment details to start a mockup and there is nothing to cancel. If you walk away, you walk away. The only thing we ask is that you tell us honestly what you thought, because that is worth something to us either way.
You will know the price before you decide
The mockup comes with the fixed written price for building it properly. No "starting from", no discovery fee, no surprise once you are committed. If the answer is no, it costs you nothing but the ten minutes it took to tell us about the business.

Plenty of small business sites look fine and rank nowhere, because the search work was quoted as a separate project and never happened. We do the on-page work as part of building the site. It is far cheaper to do it while the pages are being written than to retrofit it a year later. That means every build leaves here with the following already done, at no extra cost.
The structural work
Real page titles and meta descriptions written per page, one clear H1, headings in an order that makes sense, clean URLs, an XML sitemap and a robots file that does not accidentally block you. Schema markup so Google and AI assistants can read what you do and where.
The local work
Your business name, address and phone identical on the site and your Google Business Profile, because a mismatch is one of the quietest reasons a local business sits below its competitors in the map pack. Suburb and service pages where they genuinely apply, not fifty spun doorway pages.
The speed work
Images compressed and sized properly, no bloated page builder, no twelve tracking scripts fighting each other. A page that loads before the searcher's patience runs out, which is both a ranking factor and the difference between a call and a back button.

Hosting is included for the first twelve months, then $99 a year. There is no monthly subscription and no retainer you have to keep paying to keep the site online. Is the mockup really free, or is there a catch?
Really free. No fee, no deposit, no card details, nothing to cancel. We build it because showing you a real page wins more work than sending you another PDF quote, and because it is the fastest way for both of us to find out whether we are a good fit. If you say no, that is the end of it.
What do you need from me to start?
What the business does, roughly where you work, and how to reach you. Photos, logos and copy are useful if you have them, but you do not need any of it to get a mockup. If you have nothing, we will use your trade and area and show you a starting point.
How long does the mockup take?
Usually a couple of business days. If you need it faster for a meeting or a deadline, say so in the form and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.
Do I own the website, or am I renting it?
You own it outright. It is not built on a subscription platform, so nobody can switch it off if you stop paying a monthly fee. Hosting is included for the first twelve months and is $99 a year after that.
Is SEO an extra cost?
The on-page SEO work is part of the build at no extra cost: titles, structure, speed, schema and your Google Business Profile details. Ongoing monthly SEO is a separate, optional service from $390 +GST a month with no lock-in.
I already have a website. Can you just fix it?
Often, yes, and we will say so rather than selling you a rebuild you do not need. Send us the address in the form and we will look at it before we quote anything. If a rebuild genuinely is the cheaper answer, we will show you why.
